這個case report很有意思, 值得讓有在做植牙補綴的醫師參考. 在bone level的植體設計中, 多少會有platform switching的部分. 但是如果不幸bone level implant種的不夠深, 那反而容易卡東西, 要怎麼做？
這篇UBC的case做了platform unswitching, 就是在該要有內凹的部分用貴金屬casting出一個環, 將這個凹陷處整個包住. 雖說不好看但是在清潔上就避免髒東西卡在那凹陷處. 這樣的想法確實是實用而且不會很貴, 但是要配合screw retained prosthesis.
